The All Nighter

I'm pretty sure all of you have been in this position before. You get a project/assignment/paper that's due in about 4 weeks, which makes you think have all the time in the world. This leads to partying, chilling and basically doing everything except for what you have to do. Then it hits you, the deadline is the next day and you basically haven’t even looked at the assignment. ATM I’m between the ‘Realize you’re not going to sleep tonight’ and the ‘Existential crisis! What am I doing with my life??’ stages, and here I am blogging instead of working on my project. If only I would get a grade for my procrastination behaviour, life would be pretty good right now!

I have been saying to myself that I’m going to start earlier next time, but who am I kidding? We all know it’s not going to happen…

Just when I thought I couldn’t love Iggy Azalea more, she surprised today with her new music video and it had me totally buggin’ ! After seeing a photo roaming around Tumblr for days where she rocks the classic plaid skirt suit, I just knew the video had to be amazing, but who knew she would actually recreate the classic 90s chick flick?

I have always been one of those people who comes up with the most amazing ideas at 3AM when I can’t sleep and completely forget about them by the time I wake up in the morning.  This only leads to thinking about what your life changing idea was while getting ready in the morning. The worst part about this? It will keep your mind busy for a long time!

The other day for some reason I still remembered what I wanted by the time I woke up. Since this never happens I knew had to continue with this idea! Ever since I switched to the iphone, I have been living life on the edge by not using covers, cause let’s be honest, they do look their best without any. After dropping mine a couple of times without getting it scratched (I have no idea how this happened and yes I know that I’m very lucky!!) I thought it would be time to let the search for a lovely cover begin. This was easier said than done, so I actually continued my idea of designing them myself!

As you can see, I stuck to the summer theme and I just love how fresh they look!

Malta Day Three

Today started off with a tour. We got picked up from the hotel after breakfast for our first stop, which was at the Dingli Cliffs. The view is absolutely stunning but sadly it started raining when we arrived. It didn’t stop us though.

Next stop on the tour was Mdina, but because of the weather we didn't stay very long and went to Mosta. 

Since the weather didn't make it possible to go shopping, us girls decided to have spa day at the hotel as soon as we got back.  By the time we went for dinner the weather changed thankfully. We went back to paceville and got dinner at Hugo's Lounge before we went out again!

Malta Day Two

Today was much more relaxed than yesterday. We had to be ready by nine, so after a great English breakfast we were ready to go. Our destination for the day? Valletta. 

Trying to pose with F. is just impossible, this girl cracks me up every time! 

So after a productive morning we stopped for some food. Can you guess what we had?

After our meal the journey continued..

After soaking up the sun and wondering around town we got a taxi back to our hotel. Before getting ready for a night out and dinner werspend our time with Swimming and napping. We ended up going to the native bar at paceville, but all my photos ended up blurry unfortunately.

Malta Day One

From the beginning of the school year we were able to choose a destiny for the annual trip. The choice wasn’t hard to make for my friends and I, so after two months it was finally time to start packing for MALTA.

So after a 5 AM wakeup call on the 26^th of November it was time to leave for the airport.

It was lovely to be welcomed by the sunshine, something we Dutch people haven’t had for who knows how long. We were picked up by a bus and brought to our hotel.

My friends and I just hung out and got to know the neighbourhood around the hotel we were staying at. After dinner we decided to check out ‘paceville’ where you can find all the clubs. After walking up and down the street and having some drinks we went back to the hotel to catch up on some sleep for the long day that was ahead of us.

Snowy Rotterdam

It is Sunday and it started snowing again. Today would have been the perfect day to just stay in with a nice cup of tea and do nothing. Instead I decided to go out for some shopping before I would start with my school work. When I wanted to return home I had two choices: Wait for the tram for 20 minutes in the cold or start walking. I went with the second option and took some photos on my way home.
